Due to:
1.  Several Years of Droughts...
2.  No Pasture, Little/No hay being grown in the area....
3. the high cost to truck in out-of-state hay...
4.  High priced hay at feed stores....
5.  Risk of Deadly Blister Beetles in local hay...
6.  the need for Quality Hay at a fair Price...

I started to think outside the 'Box' and look outside the 'Bale'....
and I discovered "Chaffhaye" !

We now feed Chaffhaye to OUR HORSES!

"Chaffhaye" is Alfalfa Pasture that is cut, coarsely chopped, and misted with a light coat of water and molasses....

then compressed 'Fresh' into 50 lb. plastic, Air-Tight bags....!

I feed it to my stallions, weanlings, mares and older, retired horses....

and I'm SUPER Pleased with the results! 

Why  Not  Acres  Nigerian  Dwarf  Dairy Goats

 I wish to tell everyone about the experience  I’ve had using Chaffhaye.  I raise, exhibit, sell, and milk  Registered Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats.  Due to the exceptional drought conditions we are now facing, finding a consistent supply of  quality alfalfa hay at an affordable price has been a monumental challenge.

  That is until I found Chaffhaye.   I was unable to maintain condition on my goats with alfalfa pellets and goat chow.  By introducing  Chaffhaye as a replacement for the alfalfa pellets, I now have “in prime condition” does, kids, and bucks that I am proud to exhibit, and the milk production has been outstanding!! 

 In fact, at the September 2012 Oklahoma State Fair, “Gem” an 18 month old senior dam of twins, won the Nigerian Breed Grand Champion Senior Doe in Milk, and Best Udder titles --a rare event--especially to a first freshener as she was shown against more senior does !!.  It was Gem’s first pregnancy and she received Chaffhaye as a major part of her diet only a few months before the fair !!!  During that pregnancy she was producing over 1/2 gallon of milk each day -- giving me nearly a quart of milk “EXTRA”  each day to what she producing for her nursing twins. 

 Goats, especially dairy goats, require a high calcium source  for growth, to  maintain  their condition, AND produce quality milk, .  Chaffhaye,  as a long-stemmed fiber provides them with a high quality calcium source,  PLUS probiotics, yeast cultures, and  micronutrients--so necessary for health rumens. 

 With Chaffhaye,  there is nearly 0% waste since as silage, the goats eat every crumb and ask for more.  No “dirty” hay barn,  No storage problems -- No rodent problems -- NO PROBLEMS AT ALL !!!

 I want to thank Bedonna for acting as a local agent for this wonderful product !!!  As long as I have dairy goats and a Miniature Horse, I will be a using Chaffhaye.
